Aimee's Looks

Posted on November 14 2014

Hello, gorgeous. I am Aimee Cheshire, Co-Founder and President of Hey Gorgeous! I am living my dream, owning a shop with a great selection of beautiful clothes for plus sized women. And sometimes, I just can't keep my hands off of the beautiful clothes in our inventory.
Check out some looks that I wore and loved, all picked out of the HG selection.

This is one of my favorite go-to looks. I absolutely adore my Vegan Side Panel Leggings by Lysse- if it were acceptable I'd wear them everyday. They are a comfortable way to create a quick and modern look (thanks to the cool paneling)! I paired the leggings with the Alaia Keyhole Top by Anna Scholz for a pop of print to go with my favorite funky sneakers. The Harlem Moto Jacket in White is such a no-brainer piece to layer on to any look. It's my favorite jacket because it instantly makes my look so mod, and it always gets mistaken for a Helmut Lang jacket.

Not only does it come in such a beautiful color and print but the Rhodes Geometric Dress by Adrianna Papell has an amazing fit. It perfectly flows over my tummy and makes my trouble zone disappear. To keep things casual, I layered it under the Alexa Moto Jacket by MYNT 1792, which has quickly become a wardrobe staple for me. With the zipper details at the shoulders, it is a total eye-catcher. People are always stopping me to ask where it's from and there is nothing more satisfying than to say, "My own store, Hey Gorgeous!"

One of my favorite skirts ever- the Felicity Pencil Skirt by MYNT 1792 is made of the softest faux suede and has a cool cut-out texture along the bottom. It is so easy to take from a daytime workwear look to a nighttime look. Head from the office to the bar in a snap! I wore it with the Raina Top also by MYNT 1792 for a modern yet classic colorful print.

One of our best selling pieces of winter wear is the Elsa Coat by Jessica Simpson. It is a beautiful peacoat with a gorgeous lapel, a pretty knit feel, and flattering seams. The coat comes in white also, for the daring who like to wear winter whites. As a new mommy living in an apartment filled with babies and cats, I should probably stay away... If I can help myself!
